Yes, and Yes.

For Linux, there is a bug in Rev 82 and 950 firmware and prior that does not allow Linux to enumerate the PM3, this has been fixed in internal builds and will be corrected in all future versions. If you need something immediately for Linux, please personal message or email me and I will see what I can do. The Mac enumerates the PM3 just fine, so CSAFE commands should be usable by the Mac developer.

Drivers and methods are under development in preparation for eventual publication in the SDK and possible development and release of applications. No timetable is available at this time.

-- Scott
Update: The Mac 10.2 and 10.3 and Linux built-in HID drivers are just plain not behaving properly, so we're sort of stalled while we sort it out while we figure it out or attempt a prototype of a patch of these drivers so we don't break peoples mice and keyboards... (ugh!).

Any hardcore Mac or Linux heads out there? Hmmm... what would an adequite reward be -- your name on the program credits?

-- Scott
We might be able to help, feel free to email us code etc and where you are and we will see what we can do. Initial tests in Windows with direct connection and Keyspan, seem to be okay. Our primary software is Linux based so we will shortly begin testing under Linux with our product, so any issues you are having are of interest to us.

Current Status in Linux
Have not yet found a way to get Keyspan working in Linux, awaiting response from keyspan.

Direct connection appears to work when we plug it in. Have not tried programing to it yet:

hiddev0: USB HID v1.00 Device [Concept2 Concept2 Performance Monitor 3 (PM3)] on usb2:4.0
(i.e. /dev/hidev0).

If you would like to send us what you have tried so far we will be happy to carry on from there.
Simon

Folks, give us a couple of weeks. I'm slammed with Racing (again!) and travel to the UK, but when we get back, hope to do some further analisys to see if the PM3 is at fault, the OS HID driver is at fault, or if the programmer I hired who worked on the Linux/Mac stuff is doing something wrong...

Racing takes priority (it waits for no one) but this is a active project -- at minimum to get the OS's talking to the PM3 and see where we can go from there...
