Is the functionality that can be turned on to allow someone to jump to a specific page in a topic? When topics are long and you visit every few days it is a bother to start at either end and use the previous/next clicks to get to where you left off.

Or maybe I just need to be told how to do this???

The link to the first page, like http://www.c2forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=19 , ends with the number of the topic.

The second page starts after post #15 in the topic,
the link is like http://www.c2forum.com/viewtopic.php?t= ... c&start=15
and ends with the number of posts that are skipped.

So just alter the last number if you want to jump a number of pages.

start=90 will take you to page 7 , if it exists.

Why don't you just jump to Page 1, or Page 5, etc.? It's shown under the topic...

Or click on the small white rectangle that seems to represent a page with the corner turned down to go directly to that post. It is to the right of the poster's name.

Clicking on the little orange (?) page icon to the left of the thread title takes you to the first post in the thread since you last logged on. Some have a "View first unread" or similar link at the top of thread pages with new postings. If this forum has that, I haven't figured it out, so I always go back to the index and then jump to the new part of the next thread.
