Workout of the Day: keeping track of results

Post by jmuse99 » May 20th, 2024, 7:09 pm

This is a suggestion for adding to log info. I would appreciate seeing which workouts are for Workout of the Day when looking at Latest Workouts. And in addition, it would be nice to have an easy way to see all of the results of Workout of the Day in separate log.

I take the Workout of the Day seriously, as many others do too, and having a way to see the aggregate data and perhaps to rank all rowers by their average placements? Just a thought! Any other ideas?

This section is for "Forum use, comments and suggestion", not PM2, PM3, PM4 or PM5 and Rowerg, Skierg or Bikeerg suggestions.

I suggest you write an email to and wait for a reply, they're quite responsive.

way to see the aggregate data
Using a spreadsheet you can see whatever you want.

I keep a sheet separate to C2 Log, logging distances, times and stroke count, calculating automatically whatever I want to see: usually Work/stroke, W/kg m/stroke and weekly totals, even Work done per day.

To keep separate totals for separate types of workout could be somewhat complex, depending on the categories that interest you. For example I'd like a guideline that tells me for my age, size and sex how near I am to overtraining; not that there's much risk of this using the WODs every day at low rates, even on top of lifting the wife's shopping up stairs, walking in the woods and cutting and splitting trees for firewood.
08-1940, 183cm, 83kg. Last seen MHR 140.
2024: stroke 6 W-min @ 20-21. No times yet, now using WODs.
