I like rowing with Row Pro, but did not like have to look over at the screen. With some help from the UK forum folks, this is what I got.

Great job. Can you specify which mount arm you used, etc. Thanks, Andy

Here is the mount I used

http://tiny.cc/2ZzAI Pricey, but well made. I am sure this could be done cheaper, but this one seemed to be the best choice.

If you look close, I had to flip the arm that the monitor attaches to so I could get the geometry right. The mount is secured with 2 8mm bolts and self locking nuts. I moved the plastic cover on the bottom of the erg out of the way and used a vacuum while drilling to prevent any shavings from getting into the moving parts. I also drilled through the pivots of the mount and secured them with screws so that nothing will come loose at a bad time.

I may add one more support based on how much sway I get during hard peices. If Ido, I'll post more photos.

Thanks for the details. I am going to look into doing this at some point. Andy

while that is pricey, that is very cool. I would like to use it to watch tv with. I like to distract myself but I'm not using the erg for anything other than fitness. That rowing software is cool though.

Have you found something like this less expensive or a good way to DIY?

Thanks!

I made this one for free from scrap 2x4"s and plywood.
