Model E _ Snapped!

Post by 5uperfly » September 13th, 2009, 2:20 pm

So there I was, erging away on our works Model E (I work on the oil rigs), just a couple of k into my daily 10k session, when my arse hit the floor like a sack spuds:oops:. It took a few seconds to realise that the erg had come apart at the joint and I hurredly tried to re-assemble the machine to keep my time respectable. On closer inspection I found the socket end of the joint had in fact sheared rendering the machine useless. I am a heavy weight (97kgs) but not that heavy. Anyone else experience this??

Since you're UK based you probably want: http://www.concept2.co.uk/rower/strength_upgrade

Concept2 UK will send a replacement front end if you call them tomorrow.

You should also look at http://concept2.co.uk/forum rather than this one.
