My dad is thinking of purchasing a Model E and keeping it in his garage (essentially outdoors with a roof). He lives in Florida in the US, which is a quite humid area. Anyone think rust is a concern due to the humidity. Thanks-

The only rusty C2 I've ever used was kept in a gym on the seafront at Brighton, UK. The whole room was full of dried-on salt.
Lots of folks use rowers in garages, nobody complains about rust. The model E is built like a tank so should be good for many years.

When I put my Model D in my humid cellar for a year to do workouts I noticed a bit of rust on the underside when I returned it to the upstairs. In the two years since I haven't noticed any problems with the funcition of the rower and you wouldn't notice the rust unless you turned it up or over.
As Dougie says, a lot of people keep theirs in garages and don't seem to have problems, and I'm sure that a C2 would hold up to rust at least as well if not better than other exercise equipment.
