How to check total mileage on a PM2?

I've forgotten how to check the total miles on my erg with PM2... Do you press the "OK button" with the "up" arrow or the "right" arrow?

Also, does it reset itself to 0 if the batteries go dead?

TWO ODOMETERS

Non-resettable
Hold down OK and then press >> to display cumulative distance rowed. This odometer is not resettable. Distance is in kilometers and is only displayed while the buttons are being pressed.

Resettable
1. Hold down OK and then press ^^ to display a resettable record of distance rowed. At 99,999 it rolls over to 00,000.
2. Press RECALL to reset the value to 0.
3. Press READY or ON/OFF to get out of this function.
