My PM3 seems to be a paper weight these days. Wont read log cards, wont stay on for more then a few moments at a time (battery is fine) and wont be recognized by my computer for firmware updates or backups.

Anyone out there with similar problems? I have to say I'm not thrilled about shelling out another few hundred dollars on a piece of hardware as doggie as these seem to be.

Re your problematic PM3: Have you contacted Concept2 yet?

Could be damaged by water or chemicals sprayed on the front,

Could be screws need to be tightened (2 hold the battery contacts in place),

Are there any errors, battery low warnings, etc?
