I consider buying a new amartphone. Easy to copy the workout from Ergdata to the new phone?

Re: Ergdata and new phone
That's an interesting question. I think the data you see on the phone is stored locally, and in turn uploaded (copied) to the online logbook when you press the "sync" button (which doesn't really 'sync", it uploads). This is a one way process (phone to C2 server, not the other way round).
So, I don't think your data will come across with you to a new smartphone by default.
With iPhones, there is the option of "back up my phone" (either to iCloud or to PC/Mac via iTunes) and this will, I think, backup data that is stored locally within the various apps (including ErgData). So, I think if you were moving from iPhone to iPhone, you would be able to take the data with you. Presumably there is a similar backup functionality in Android devices?
If you are moving from one phone o/s to another, however, (e.g., Android to iPhone) then I suspect that you may lose the data.
