Lever on Flywheel keeps falling down
Lever on Flywheel keeps falling down
I am a new owner to a used Model C. The lever on the flywheel keeps falling from 5 to 1. It will stay if I set it at level 9 or 10. Any tips on how to tighten this up? Thanks in advance.

You have to either replace the whole plastic frame and lever assembly or if C2 still do it, fit a damper button.

The cheaper option is a folded paper towel, wedged in just under the lever.

Should you need to open the cage for cleaning, you can refit the cover with the lever at top or bottom, turning it 90°. Or wind something round the lever in the meantime.

Thank you for your suggestions. The paper towel worked perfectly. Who knows why I didn't think of something like that, but then that is why we have community.
