Have had my C2 D since September 12.

After about 20K seat rollers were very dirty. Cleaned them up with Windex and in another 20K they were dirty again. No excessive dust, dirt in the air, no sweat drippings. Normal? Best description of the dirt I can come up with is looks like when you were a kid and used to scribble with the side of pencil lead on paper.

I also took the seat off the rail in order to clean them better and look at them. None of them roll freely.....marked one with a pencil line and spin as fast as I can with a finger.....takes two finger flicks to rotate 360 degrees. Normal? C2 says no problem.

Hi Bob,
I have had my C2 D since September 9th. I have also noted the black spots on the rollers, and clean them, and the rail, with Windex every other workout (which is typically 40-50 minutes including warm up).

I haven't tried the "rolling/spinning test" you described, but I am quite sure C2 is correct when saying there is nothing to worry about - especially since the seat rolls without any problem.
