Hello,
I noticed recently that my ANT+ belt (as provided with my PM4) doesn't appear to be "remembered" on my PM. I had some other problems recently and had to go through the process of setting up the HRM again. I elected to "Remember" the belt ID (as I'd done for first-time setup when new) as I had my log card inserted into my PM at the time and was able to use the belt without any issues.
Today I started my warm up and noticed my pulse was not registering as usual. Uncertain as to why this should be, I had the idea of removing my log card and then re-inserting it and that seemed to do the trick. My HRM was picked up fine. I tend to leave my log card inserted as my PM is constantly connected via USB and so there's no need for me to remove the card.
I didn't have this issue prior to the problems I had a few days ago and so I'm wondering if there's a step I've missed in the HRM setup or some other thing I need to do again that I've forgotten.
Any help appreciated.
Regards
Steve

Re: PM4 Not Remembering My HR Belt
You need to have a LogCard to store your ANT/ANT+ HR belt serial number. So for auto pairing you need the LogCard inserted when your PM4 powers up.

Indeed. As mentioned, this is what I am doing. My log card is left inserted in the PM and I was able to use the belt yesterday without an issue. When using the machine today it was as if the log card was not in the PM but it was. Removing and re-inserting it sorted the issue but I never had to do this before.Citroen wrote:You need to have a LogCard to store your ANT/ANT+ HR belt serial number. What I'd do is backup your LogCard to an *.LCB file using the C2 Utility. When that's complete select the option to restore your card from the backup. That will cause it to be completely re-written.raotor wrote:Indeed. As mentioned, this is what I am doing. If the problem recurs you will want to report it to C2USA's software engineering team.
