Hi,
Just got my model D and have been working out for the past couple days. There's noise on the recovery and was wondering if I needed to oil the chain.
Thanks,
WT
Do I need to oil my chain when it first arrives?

No oiling needed (not just yet). It's just because things are still a bit tight from the factory and it will quieten down when you've run it in a bit further.
The recommended maintenance schedule is 50 hours for gym machines, your home machine will run much longer before it needs any lube.

Excellent question.
I spoke with Mark at C2 this morning and he stated that it comes oiled from them so you simply need to follow the maintenance in the literature on the website or manual.
As was stated above you are good to go!

Just one minor correction to the maintenance schedule referred to in another post. It's a recommended 50 hours between oilings for machines or every week for those machines used in places like gyms and other institutions.
