Hmm post disappeared.
Active rower for 20 years and about o buy my own Rowerg. However before i drop a grand on a new one i am keen to see if Concept are likely to release a new model anytime soon?
Done some searching without success.

Unlikely. Their latest device is the Strength Erg, to be shipping shortly. It is a completely different beast from the ergs.

PM5 recently got an new hardware version (USB-C), no new machine announced....

The PM5 is more than ten years old so your speculation is not unwarranted, however there's a couple of things
1. Concept2 do NOT pre-announce new kit.
2. There's nothing wrong with the current PM5 with the 2024 upgrade and 459.001 firmware. Update it with Ergdata on Windows or Mac.

thanks all. i do like the new tablet holder - certainly better than my home made one i currently use.
