Clutch bearing leaf springs quick question

Bought a 2009 model D. The chain started to slip on hard pulls. I researched this excellent forum and figured it was probably the clutch bearing. On inspection, all the rollers are there and not seized, but a few of the little plastic leaf springs (which look like little pairs of wings) have broken off, and I'd say some of the others have lost their spring. Is this likely to be the problem or should the bearing work ok if all the rollers are there? It was still slipping after I put it back together but then I thought I might have over-oiled it.

If it doesn't work after oiling, you need to fit at least a new one-way bearing. I'd guess you need a press of some type to remove and refit without damage.

The alternative is get a complete new wheel from C2. Oil cured mine, but I got a new wheel too for when it finally fails altogether, so now I have a spare.

Yeah. Thanks. I ordered a new bearing. Should be able to make a puller from some washers etc.

The bearing is stuffed. I moved to the stainless steel leaf spring version.
