When I press and hold Manu button to turn off PM5, press any button can not wake up PM5.
If remove the battery then install battery directly, PM5 show: PM Init Error:201.
Remove the battery and reset PM5, then install battery. PM5 screen will power on again, the time and date need to be reset.
If PM5 power off, the problem gonna be happen again.
USB Cable linked PM5 and computer, no response on PM5, concept2 UTILITY show: no equipment connected
Use USB flash disk to install firmware by concept2 UTILITY, insert the USB flash disk to PM5, there is no response or prompt, nothing happened.
I can't update PM5 firmware.
Has anyone experienced the same problem?

You turn off the PM5 by pressing and releasing the menu button 4 times, not by holding the menu button.
... or you can disconnect all Bluetooth devices and the PM5 will time out and turn off.

It works both ways. I also use the long press to turn off the PM5.

PM Init Error:201.
What does C2 say about that?

If you don't want to get a new PM***, use the erg as is.
A clock that shows seconds can help keep the rating at around 20, a stroke every three seconds. Pull long strokes hard and fast with the legs, with plenty of rest in between, but not so hard that you can't reach 10-20 minutes a day after warm-up.
*** If you do get a new PM, tell C2 what machine your are using: type C or D. The sensor systems differ.
Maybe also try using a power supply with a printer type cable.
