Model E upper seat roller vs Dyno carriage roller

Does anyone know if the Dyno carriage roller (part number 5724) is compatible with the Model E upper seat roller (part number 1724)?

One of the seat roller bearings at my gym's Model E is about to die (it's lost one of the balls, which you can see trapped between the bracket side plate and the bearing body, and as you go up and down the slide, several times per stroke at random intervals you can hear and feel a small thump/click from the seat, as if you're rolling over something on the rail, but both the rail and rollers are quite clean).

I happen to have a set of Dyno carriage rollers and would be willing to give up two of them if it can be used on the Model E, and deal with my Dyno refurbishment project later. That would be faster than 1) Telling the gym about it, or 2) Ordering new rollers from C2.

I suppose when I get home I can compare the seat rollers on my Model C (same part number as the Model E rollers) to the Dyno rollers.

Thanks

Edit: In case you were wondering, I checked the memory, and the lifetime meters are 19.1x10^6 and the date code is 3062012.

Far easier and cheaper to just replace the bearings in the rollers with the R6-2RS version that's rubber sealed, they last and last.

The bearings are not even a tight fit in the Nylon, they practically fall out when pressed from the opposite side.

I have just started ordering bearings direct from China via AliExpress, they are about 1/5th the price and delivered to your door for a total price that is less than just the local courier charge here now.

Thanks Carl, unfortunately I just ordered two rollers from C2 a few hours ago. (I should probably have checked the forum first.)

When I got home last night I compared the Dyno and the Model C (same as E) rollers and they're definitely different - the Dyno rail is narrower than the rower's.

The next time I order something from Amazon I might go ahead and get a 10-pack of the R6-2RS bearings, just in case...

Just had 10 bearings turn up today of a similar size, 607RS for a total of NZD$11.00 or about USD$6.00, took 10 days to arrive.

Sure they are not going to be as good as the top Japanese brands, but those are like $11.00 EACH over here PLUS the delivery charge.

They will get tested on my bike pedals and then get offered as replacements if they can hack it.

Same problems with the pedals as the rower seat rollers, water ingress into the standard shielded only bearings and they all seized solid and just started spinning on the inner and the shaft.
