Missing graphs/Data Export
Missing graphs/Data Export
For some reason for the past 3 days the graphs and data details have been missing from both my phone app and the web log. Also no options to download the data. Anyone else having this issue? This seems to have happened back in 2019 as well because of some backlog of data uploading.
My App Version is 2.0.11 fwiw.
Thanks
David H.

Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
Yeah, that's what I'm experiencing. The Android ErgData app was updated on the 8th. Maybe not updated on my phone until after the 9th so I'm wondering if that has anything to do with it. I already have a couple of support emails in I'm waiting for a reply from.
Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
Here the same issue, reported it to Concept2.

Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
Same problem here, I made another post (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=206067) before finding this thanks to JaapvanE.
Downgrading to 2.0.7+2 solved the problem for me, I'm going to wait for another update of ErgData

Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
Did it restore the data on the previous row sessions? Just curious.rosid wrote: ↑September 13th, 2022, 3:12 amSame problem here, I made another post (viewtopic.php?f=8&t=206067) before finding this thanks to JaapvanE.

Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
No, that is lost as the app didn't record it. I updated 2 days ago and my last 2 workouts are without stroke-data. Sucks, but at least there is a workaround using an older version of ErgData.doulos0 wrote: ↑September 13th, 2022, 8:18 amDid it restore the data on the previous row sessions? Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
Thanks for the response. Sucks even more since one of the rows I lost was a personal best. :-/ Will look into downgrading and hopefully an update will come out soon. This has to be affecting a lot of people.rosid wrote: ↑September 13th, 2022, 8:23 amNo, that is lost as the app didn't record it. I updated 2 days ago and my last 2 workouts are without stroke-data. Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
That's especially bad. Well, at least now you have motivation to break that personal recorddoulos0 wrote: ↑September 13th, 2022, 8:31 amThanks for the response. Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
Good news. A new version of ErgData (2.0.12) for Android was released a little earlier and it seems to have resolved the issue.
Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
I can confirm my stroke-by-stroke data is recorded and stored again, and synced to Garmin.
Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
Thanks for the updates. Will test myself and report back.
Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
I can also confirm that it works as it should. That was really quick.

Re: Missing graphs/Data Export
I'm also seeing issues, but the symptoms are different. Today's workout appears to have been logged with Android ErgData but the graphs are missing. If I click the "rank" button from the log page it goes immediately to the "delete workout" page asking for conformation to delete the workout. However, if I go into the workout details page (by clicking the magnifying glass) I can click the "rank" button there and it ranks it.
Probably caused by a DB corruption and poor handling of the case by the web app. Defaulting to deleting the offending DB entry w/o explanation is pretty poor programming in my opinion, but what do I know?
