Seat Play - What’s Normal.

As per the title really.
I’ve been off the rower for several months due to health issues and have recently got back in the seat.
And that’s the issue.
How much play should the seat have? I can rock the seat left to right in hand and when rowing this movement translates into a fair bit of noise unless I get back position just so in the seat.
I certainly do don’t recall having this issue before I stopped rowing.
There was a tiny bit of play in bolt/nut on the front and back roller which I’ve nipped up but still exhibiting the ‘rock’.
How much play is normal/expected then if anyone can answer.
Rower only has 500k use so I’d expect bearings/rollers to still be healthy at this point. Machine kept clean and rail wiped down and dried after each use.
Thanks.
