Good Price For a Model D2????

Post by Junkmanuk » February 3rd, 2022, 8:58 am

Hi

Ive been offered a Model D2 with PM3 looks in good condition from the pics for £450

Thing is its done 33334353 Lifetime Meters ive never seen one that high before

So would u say it was worth it or should i look for one with less meters as im worried things may need replacing now, so it maybe better to save up a bit more and buy a newer one with a PM5 etc

Many Thanks

Ergs are very robust, especially if they've been looked after, but at that price I'd hold out for a PM5 monitor and less mileage.
51 HWT; 6' 4"; 1k= 3:09; 2k= 6:36; 5k= 17:19; 6k= 20:47; 10k= 35:46 30mins= 8,488m 60mins= 16,618m HM= 1:16.47; FM= 2:40:41; 50k= 3:16:09; 100k= 7:52:44; 12hrs = 153km

The seller said they bought it refurbished in 2019 and has hardly been used and by looking at the pics it does look good

My question can a pm3 be reset to 0 or not??

Im thinking if its been serviced and refurbished it could be possible they put a old pm3 that had been used a lot on previous ergs so the meter readings could be false

For one guy I know that's less than a year of rowing.
There are folks rowing 3,000,000 per year, so that's ten year's worth.
