I recently picked up a well-used Model C (year 2000 serial number) and PM2 on Craigslist. The guy sold it because the traveling pulley basically crumbled and he was done with it. I am cleaning it up, ordering the parts from Concept2, and put some new lithium batteries in the PM2.
I checked the total kilometers on the PM2 and it reads 35763. 35 million meters and this thing is still ticking. Maybe this is common on club machines, but I am impressed. Well done Concept2.
Now, because of the covid-crazy resale market, I'll sell this to the next user for about what it was worth new in 2000.

Concept 2 have improved some of the parts used in the Model C. Those small white nylon chain pulleys fail and seize or fall to bits and the newer version is a soft clear rubber to reduce noise.
Put a bit of light lube in the flywheel clutch bearing in the form of oil or a thin grease. Clean the flywheel housing out to get the drag factor back up to the normal range.
The seat bearings can be replaced in the seat rollers and with a bit of lube for the chain and a new bungee cord it could be good to go for years to come.
