Fitted my new shock cord. But it's white.

I phoned Concept2 over my concerns re a white shock cord. The person I spoke to was helpful and said they "believed" all of the suspect cords had been put to one side. It was just that, according to the threads here, people were sent a cord of a different colour cord as a replacement. But we'll see. It only took about 15 minutes to fit it. Had to cut a bit off the ends to make the ends tapered, leaving the tape intact, to get the cord through the hook holes. No big deal. But I'd rather only do it once than repeat the process again because of a known fault. We'll see.

I've kept the old one incase it needs to go back on.

The white ones I put in mine in July have been absolutely fine 1 million metres later.

Thanks for that. That’s good to know. C2 seem to be efficient in the dealings I’ve had with them. Cheers
