Model E PM4

Post by tbarr93 » July 7th, 2020, 4:51 am

First time poster here :D
I'm chasing a second hand model D PM5 but there's a lot of comparatively well priced model E PM4s. My question is, is there a massive difference? As Someone who's only ever used them in the gym before, I only really use basic programs and the pace boat screen is my favourite. Will a model E PM4 be as good or better than a PM3 model D which I've used in must gyms.
TIA

About 6 inches and the difference between a Hummer and a Land Rover in terms of construction.
They row identically, as long as you don't suffer from vertigo on the Model E.

You will want to buy a new PM5 and sell the PM4 on eBay.

Or save yourself the hassle and extra money to just buy one with a PM5 already fitted

PM5 is handy if you like rowing in the dark, the backlit screen is useful when you're out of lightbulbs

I’ve owned every C2 model from A to E, and most recently a model D with PM4 and a model E with PM5. When I realized I could sell the model D for original cost and that I don’t *really* need two rowing machines at the same time, I swapped the PMs and sold the D/PM5. I’ve been using the E/PM4 since - completely happy with it as I have been with all their machines.

Unfortunately you picked the worst possible time to be looking for a used C2 due to high demand. If you can find a used D or E at a reasonable discount, then either would be a great choice. Otherwise, you should get on the C2 waiting list immediately; production is back at full speed and the sooner you get on the waiting list the sooner you’ll get your rower.
