Model D with PM2+

Post by Butch91 » June 28th, 2020, 5:35 pm

Just seen a concept2 model D1 with a PM2+ on it - where they ever sold with PM2+ and would it work? I thought the model D was released alongside the PM3 in 2003?

That combo never existed, someone is being "economical with the actualité" (as they say in Parliament).

The PM3 was standard on model Ds from July 2003 (when it launched) to 2014 (when the PM4 launched).
PM2/PM2+ was discontinued in 2003.

It wouldn't work anyway as the model D got a new flywheel sensor which wasn't compatible with a PM2/PM2+.

Thanks Dougie, I was pretty sure that was the answer as I know you have to reconfigure the PM3 to work on the C. Thank you and hope you are well
