Time to Update PM5 Firmware from USB Stick

Hi
Apologies if this has been covered but I have searched the forum without success.
Can someone please indicate how long a typical PM5 firmware update takes.
I sat down to row and then made the mistake of thinking to check the firmware and it needed updating.
This is my first update since purchasing a PM5 for my Model D around 5 years ago! It has now been sat at 25% validating file for around 30 minutes and I am growing concerned but don't want to remove it - plus I want to row
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Perry

Last time I did it (at a hotel in South Africa - to get bluetooth working) it was about eight minutes.

I had a similar issue (update stuck on 'updating...') and contacted
info@concept2.com who swiftly told me how to proceed. (I'm not posting the resolution here because your issue might be different and I'm not a trained Concept2 Service Professional

No reason you shouldn't cut'n'paste an email from C2 here - if it saves someone some time.
