Error code with Concept2 and PM5: 488-9801

I am getting PM5 error code: 488-9801.
It started a few days ago when I try to connect PM5 with my Polar H7 heart rate strap.
Since then, I updated firmware, but the problem is persistent.
The only way to make it work is to turn-off-on PM5 a few times.
I have also replaced batteries in both.

Any help?

If you've followed the instructions here: https://www.concept2.com/service/monito ... mware#beta to update the PM5 firmware version to the latest and that didn't fix it call Concept2 at 1-800 245 5676

Same code here.
Called Concept 2 and was told it was a chip going bad in the pm5 that is used to connect a heart rate monitor.
Fix is to buy a new pm5
Stinks being the machine is only 5 years old with practically zero use the first 4.5 years

My heart rate monitor is connecting to my new skierg

Bluetooth on my rower does connect to erg data.

Never had this issue before the v30 update

Just try a factory default reset of the PM5 it fixes many issues.

Hold the bottom two left buttons down and pin the reset in the back at the same time.
