I have a PM5 that says the firmware version is 20.

I used the Concept 2 Utility (v7.06.15) to try to install the new PM5 firmware update (version 29) but if only gives me options to download the update for the SkiErg (version 22).

I am trying to download to a USB Flash drive that is formatted as FAT32.

Does anyone know why the latest PM5 firmware is not available?

Update your Concept 2 Utility to 7.08.04 which is the latest version then try again.

The way the Utility works now has changed, you also need to keep updating it to the latest version unlike the old PM3 and PM4 monitors that allowed you to use really old versions. I think it was because the old version went away to the C2 website and downloaded the latest firmware. The Utility now has the firmware embedded in it or something to that effect.

I wouldn't use a USB stick to do it, connect your monitor directly to a PC.

That's odd as this evening I downloaded version 29 to my USB using the Concept 2 Utility on my desktop, then plugged the USB into my PM5 and installed the update.

Updating the utility did the trick!
