I'm no expert on Concept 2's but could someone tell me anything about this Model C front Leg arrangement? (see Pic)
I haven't seen this on any other C or D.
Thanks
Jeff
Model C Front Foot / Leg
Re: Model C Front Foot / Leg
My Model C doesn't have that flared attachment at the foot, the legs are one width over their entire length. What do the legs look like at the attachment to the wheel? You'd have to remove these legs to see this, but are the original bolt holes in the foot?
I don't see how that modification (?) would affect anything. Is the rower working fine? Maybe the original legs were damaged and were replaced with home made legs.
C2's schematic; https://www.concept2.com/files/pdf/us/i ... cParts.pdf, doesn't show the flared legs.

Mark Underwood. Rower first, cyclist too.
Re: Model C Front Foot / Leg
Thanks for the reply.
These do not look home made.
They are "normal" where they attach to the body of the rower.
All original hole pattern in the front foot so I would say they are definitely original Concept 2.
It doesn't affect the rower - it works perfectly fine so it was just out of curiosity that I questioned the differing design.

Re: Model C Front Foot / Leg
I have seen these front legs on model c rowers before, so I think it is just an evolution of design where they found that the flared front legs weren’t providing enough value to warrant the cost of stamping out a part of that shape.
regarding schematics not all versions are kept posted online; I ran into a change on a SkiErg that was not reflected in the schematic that was posted. when contacted c2 told me about the design change and that they would look to see if the schematic needed to be updated online.
