USB issues tracking multiple user performances

Hello, my name is Jobie Frisby. Together with my wife, we have started Triad Indoor Rowing, a group rowing gym. We want to provide the best possible system for tracking performance for our Rowers. We currently have gym management software that allows us to input our "score" for each workout. We are very happy with this system. However, we want to be part of a much larger community, the online community of Concept2. To do this, we have provided each Rower with their own usb flash drive. This has proven to be difficult due to the multiple random usb errors that have occurred, interrupting the workout. To combat this, we have began waiting until the completion of the workout to then insert the usb's and transfer the workout. This has been a success, however, it becomes a little tedious to transfer sometimes multiple "pieces" AND enter the workouts "score" into the gym management software. I don't want to get rid of either "system" because they both have major advantages. Primarily, utilizing Concept2 Logbook for lifetime meters and our gym management software for individual workout performance. For example, in the future when we repeat a workout, the gym management software will show previous performance very easily. So, my questions for the forum:
1) Is there a usb flash drive out there that never gives errors so it can be inserted before the workout begins?
2) Any thoughts on how to otherwise implement Concept2 lifetime meter record keeping?
Thank you!
