My footstretcher assembly seems to be higher on the left side than the right. Is this even possible? Or am I suffering from an optical illusion?
The left side being higher seems to me to make the distance my left leg travels to horizontal slightly shorter than the right and I feel like I'm pulling slightly to the right every stroke...i.e. my left leg straightens slightly sooner...so my right leg doesn't straighten...hence the perceived pull to the right.
The difference in height of the stretchers would be small, maybe 1/8 to 1/4 inch...but over a 10k or a HM this might be significant.
[I have been lazy and haven't taken the erg apart to check this out yet].
