Modifying Concept 2

I have a 1990 model Concept2. I am primarily a cross country skier and I have tried the Ski Erg at a ski show. Last year i came across and article from Norway about modifying a Concept 2 Rower into an upright Ski Erg. As I remember the article, the rower was clamped to the wall and and straps were added to the ends of the handle so that it could be used as a Ski Erg. But, unfortunately, I am not able to locate the source of the article. Has anyone heard of doing this?
