Log card problem

Post by Islesrower » March 5th, 2012, 8:52 pm

I have been using a log card on the machine at our local fitness center for a few weeks now without problems. PM3 on the rower. Saturday as I started my row the PM3 gave a dead battery message and died. I replaced the batteries and continued my row. There was no data on the card when I got home to download it. Today I rowed again. The machine saw the card and after I finished my row I checked the card summary and my workout was there. When I got home to download the workout I got a message that the card dates were wrong and needed repair. I did the repair but today's workout is not on the card. I checked the date on the machine before starting my workout today and it was correct. Do I need a new card or is there something I am doing wrong?

Take a laptop into the gym. You need to update the firmware on that PM3.

You'll need: http://software.concept2.com/pm3firmwar ... 1Setup.exe because that machine isn't even running V101.

Yes but I wouldn't recommend doing a firmware upgrade of the Gym's monitor if it's your first one.

Older versions of Firmware like V56,V61, V62 & V82 are quite tricky to take to V101 if you have not done one before.

Once at V101 you are fine as the newer utility works a treat with the newer loader.

Have seen a few earlier versions stuffed when people obviously pulled the USB cable out at the wrong time due to the number of dialogue boxes that can appear that can be interpreted incorrectly.
