Unheated Garage

Hello Fellow Erg-ers:
I would like to house my C2 model D and slides in my garage, primarily so that I can enjoy fresh air when I want by opening the doors. The garage is unheated. The floor is untreated and it can get dusty in there as well. Are there any special considerations I should be aware of with respect to maintenance?
TIA

What is "Untreated" ? is it untreated wood or just a dirt floor ?
Would not recommend a dirt floor or very dusty conditions as the C2 Erg moves alot of air and your going to get a buildup in the cage and also if it's dirt it will hammer the chain and sprocket, not to mention it getting in the slides.
Your better to cover the floor in something to prevent excess dust if you can.

The floor is concrete. Not painted. Thanks.

I used my model D for several years on an unpainted concrete floor in my garage with no problem. There was no drop in the DF and I couldn't see any sign of dust buildup in the cage. I did keep the doors closed however. I could probably have left them open with no problem - except on windy days, when it can get quite dusty outside.

Great place for it, nice and cool in the summer with the door up, wish I could use mine but it's got two cars stuck in it.
