PM5 Bluetooth Smart HRM Chest straps - tested and working

Post by jag » March 14th, 2016, 4:23 pm

These Bluetooth Smart (4.0) chest straps have been tested and known to work well with PM5. If you have one of these and your PM5 is not working well with it, then upgrade to the latest PM5 firmware. If still not working, then diagnose problem with your specific chest strap or your specific PM5. If you have used a Bluetooth Smart chest strap with the PM5 that is not already on the list, then add it. This list does not include Ant+ chest straps (e.g. Garmin), which are also supported by the PM5, but which are not Bluetooth Smart so not included in this list. Also, some manufacturers re-use the name of their chest straps even while changing the functionality. To avoid problems, make sure the chest strap includes "Bluetooth Smart" in the tech specs, otherwise it could be an older model.
