Wanted Used Monitor

I'm interested in getting my teenage boys rowing. I am a former avid indoor rower who now trains in a group setting outside of the home. So, when I set up the rower for my boys I found my PM2 was malfunctioning. I'm not really excited about throwing $180 at the PM5 retrofit at the hope my boys will stick with a rowing regimen.

Anyone interested in upgrading their PM2 or 3 to a PM5? I'll take your current monitor off your hands for a reasonable price (I think the EBAY process are unreasonable) in the interest of getting a couple young bucks involved in rowing?

Any interest?

Thanks

Is the PM2 still available, as I just bought a C2 model D with a bad monitor?

Thanks

PM2 won't work right with a Model D. You need a PM3, 4, or 5. Do yourself a favor and buy a new PM5 - its the best option for you.

Rob, I'm interested. Mine bit the dust. Let me know if you still have it for sale please.

I have a PM3 but the USB port currently not accessible. The female side of the USB receiver has retracted into the casing of the monitor. MIght be fixable for a tinkering person. I had been using the iphone adapter cord with Ergdata.
I would send this to anyone that wants it for cost of shipping plus $40. Add another $10 and I will send the iPhone cable, too.

I just got the PM5 for the Model C. I agree, just go for it. It is a clean set up, backlight is great, and has bluetooth for Polar H7. Time to modernize and be thankful that the C2 folks value backward compatibility.
I can understand why it is way simpler to have one monitor for everyone.
