I've been using my new slides for a couple weeks now. They are great - I close my eyes and swear I can feel the "boat" moving under me!
Here is the question: When not in use, the erg and slides find a neutral position that is the same each time due to the bungee cord tension. It seems the plastic slide tracks take a "set" where the rollers sit on them overnight, especially at the wheel end, which is heavier. This creates a little bump that I can feel when I row. Is that a common thing among slide users out there?

Re: New slides, tracks question
In a word: No. I have slides and I'm not familiar with this effect.
