Hi Everyone,

I found this website ( http://www.pistonbikes.com/product-p/jbspd.htm ) while searching for a replacement speedo for a schwinn airdyne, and thought I would let other model A owners know that a replacement exists. Thanks for the tip on the site-- I've been trying to find a replacement for a speedometer on my old Airdyne. It's a solid old machine, and a pretty decent workout can be had on one.

It looks like it would work ok. I've ordered one for C2 to check out and I'll let you know my findings.....C2JonW

I purchased one of these http://www.pistonbikes.com/product-p/jbspd.htm
and it seems to fit and work ok on a model A. It's drive ratio is different so scores are going to be skewed and not comparable. While the stock Model A speedo registers 1/10 of a mile for every 90 revolutions of the flywheel, this replacement unit registers 1/10 every 70 revolutions. C2JonW

So the maths is simple. New score * (7/9) == old score.
