Question Model A

Post by chazc » February 4th, 2010, 7:30 pm

I've just started using as Model A that was given me. My question is how do I tighten the shock cord? This is a pre serial number model.
thanks

The cord has a cleat arrangement from memory. As it is now really old you probably should put a new cord in it anyway. Make sure the chain links pivot freely as any binding could lead you to beleive the cord is a problem when it is in fact the chain. The cord only needs to be strong enough to pull the chain back.

You've probably already found this C2 page that has all the Model A service stuff: http://www.concept2.com/us/service/indoorrowers/modela/

I loved my old Model A, and B and now C.

Have fun!
