Any Owners in Plano/North Dallas Area?

Post by kmc » April 5th, 2007, 1:15 pm

I'm seriously considering buying a Model D w/PM4, but I'm reluctant to pull the trigger without actually seeing one. Is there an owner in the north Dallas TX area (I live in Plano) who'd let me see theirs? I'd like to lay eyes on one, see how it folds and how hard it is to move, and ideally try it out for 5 or 10 minutes. I'd even be happy to pay a few bucks for your time. You can email me offline at kevin dot christen at gmail dot com. Thanks.

Go to:

Type in Dallas, select Texas, click on search, and it will come up with a dozen or so facilities that have them.

Thanks Bob. Unfortunately, those are either Model Cs or they are at private schools or clubs.

Update

I ended up dropping by the Dallas Rowing Club one Saturday, after failing to get a response to voicemails. They were happy to let me look around the facility and try an erg. I ordered mine the next day, and I'm enjoying it.
