Hello,
I have a model B that i purchased about 3 months ago. I was just wondering if anyone has purchased the PM3 retrofit kit and what their opinion is about the PM3 ? Was it easy to install and what the advantages and disadvantages of this swap. I am debating on whether it is worth the price to make this upgrade?
Thanks for your help !!

It would kind of depend on which PM you have now, original Mod B "PM1", or has it been upgraded to a PM2?
The PM3 does provide some useful information, though if you can get your computer and Erg together, you can try ErgMonitor virtually for free, and see if having additional displayed information is something that you care for or not.
Cheers.

I have a model B with the PM3. The upgrade is just the work of replacing the hardware.
With the PM3 you can keep track of your meters on the plastic data card or with a USB cable and a PC, you can upload to the C2 Logbook program.
You can also use the RowPro program from Digitalrowing to train, keep track of your meters, upload meters to C2 and race online with other rowers around the world.
