Heart rate monitor
Heart rate monitor
I just got one. How on earth do I unbuckle the chest strap? I can't figure it out for the life of me. Surely it can't require a hammer and screwdriver. (Polar 31)

I threw away the small piece of paper that came with the chest belt or I would have scanned it for you.
If my memory serves me correctly, this is how the directions described how to unsnap them.
1-Grasp the transmitter in one hand
2-Grasp one of the snap connectors in the other hand
3- Twist them in opposite directions
Mine has worn enough that it unsnaps fairly easily now.

I had a similar problem when I got mine. I was holding both ends at the same time and it would not separate. Move he hands further apart so that each is holding a separate end and twist in opposite directions.Sasha wrote:I just got one. How on earth do I unbuckle the chest strap? On a related subject, my HRM has suddenly stopped working altogether. When I bought it as a replacement I did not buy a new receiver as he original seemed to be working fine. Could that part now need replaecment?
