Model D Rower in Leeds, UK looking for a good home (Free)

Post by iandmills3@gmail.com » March 30th, 2025, 5:39 am

Hi everyone. I have a 20 year old Model D Rower with PM3 monitor, and around 20 million metres on the clock. It is in full working order, but could probably benefit from a good clean. Is there a youth club or community gym or similar that could make use of it ? I am not looking for any money for it, but I am afraid that I would need you to collect it (I am in Leeds, UK), and probably help me to get it out of the basement! Please PM me if you would like more information. With best wishes.

I was in a similar situation a few years back. I just googled to find out if there were any rowing clubs in the vicinity and there was one, in Truro (I'm in west Cornwall).

A quick search reveals a Leeds Boat Club and a Leeds University Rowing Club. If you contact either of them they'll probably be only too pleased to take it away. The guys in Truro certainly were, they came round the next day.
