Read the fine manual at: https://www.concept2.com/support/monito ... how-to-use or the troubleshooting guides at: https://www.concept2.com/support/monito ... leshooting (which includes Stuck on Zero - which is a common PM5 error with a model C).

It pays to update the PM5 to the latest firmware, changing models is easier on the PM5 than the older PM3 or PM4 as its no longer a hidden menu.

Is your goal to set the pm5 to model C ?Carl Watts wrote: ↑February 26th, 2025, 3:51 amIt pays to update the PM5 to the latest firmware, changing models is easier on the PM5 than the older PM3 or PM4 as its no longer a hidden menu.

Agree with Carl's post above re current firmware. Not totally safe to use current ergdata with old firmware pm5.
But if your goal is to change the PM5 model type on older firmware here are the keystrokes.
For PM5s with older firmware, PM4 and PM3 monitors:
From the Main Menu, select More Options > Utilities > LCD Contrast.
Press Change Units or Units three times.
Press Change Display or Display three times.
When the Set Rower Type screen appears, press the button next to Change Type until the correct indoor model is displayed:
D or D/E for Model D Indoor Rowers
D/E for Model E and Dynamic Indoor Rowers
C, B or A as appropriate for the indoor rower you have, if you've retrofitted a monitor to an older machine
(from here in the troubleshooting section, which is what Citroen posted above https://www.concept2.com/support/monito ... leshooting)

I have a Model C (2003) with a brand new PM5 (month old) and have no issues with it at all.

The PM5 is now onto like its 5th Hardware version, it has changed significantly on the inside and so has the firmware for them now.old wobbler wrote: ↑March 5th, 2025, 7:20 amI have a Model C (2003) with a brand new PM5 (month old) and have no issues with it at all.
Things changed a lot with the Bluetooth side of things as well.
