ANyone have any unused logcards?

Post by iain » January 27th, 2025, 5:37 am

I am still using a faithful old PM3 so can't use USB or direct transfer. I only have 2 working cards (others no longer recognised and look damaged). WHen I deleted users or workouts it didn't create any more room so no out of space. Happy to pay reasonable amounts, C2 no longer have a stock (atleast in UK).

Many thanks

Iain - I just checked and appear to have 3 unused cards. They'll need formatting - presume your PM3 is good for that? - fired up my old one and it prompts me to format these cards. PM your address and I'll pop them in the post.

For what it's worth, I installed legacy ErgData on an old phone that doesn't hold a charge very well. Using that and a USB-B -- micro-USB cable, I am in business without a log card.

The phone can't charge and do ErgData at the same time, but I have enough battery to last the duration of my workout.

There are adapters to connect devices for data exchange and a charging power supply at the same time. Works well and ensures no data loss during longer workouts. But if your devices lives as long as your workout takes, no need to update :)

Ha! From what I can remember they can hold between 1&2 MM - is that right? If so you'll be needing more before you know it!

You can format the full Logcards without taking it out of the PM3 monitor by using a hidden menu.

The PM3 needs to be on the latest version of the firmware.

You go into the second screen of the product ID, press the change units 3 times then the change display 3 times and FORMAT is shown on the screen.

Press the button below it and wait, its totally blanks the car like it brand new again.
