Error Code

Error code 480, PM5 seems frozen with message omit error 480, not able to perform hard reset. Taken batteries out, replaced batteries screen still frozen

Its dead.

If you cannot perform a hard factory reset by holding the change units and change display buttons while pinning the reset button on the back its dead.

What year is printed on the white sticker on the back ?

Carl, what if one of the buttons is stuck in the "depressed" position - will that prevent the OP from performing a reset?

Pretty hard to get a button stuck down on these, more common for it to not make the required contact.

With a factory reset you get a message top of the screen

"Resetting to factory default settings" or words to that effect.
