Is this rower a real or fake?

Looking to buy a concept 2 rower, wondering if this is a legitimate item and what model it is, started to read about fakes and getting worried as I'm going to look at it later. https://photos.app.goo.gl/KC4kKf8HwL7VULEU8 - the serial number sticker looked odd, the concept 2 site says the date of manufacture is in the serial number but this has a separate date which I assume is from 2020

Looks like a Concept2 model to me.

It's a fairly recent Model D with PM5 Rowing Ergo. It's not the latest RowErg.

Thanks for the info, went ahead and bought it, seems I was.wrong about the serial number/date after reading the concept2 site.

I took a look at the photos you shared. The serial number sticker does look a bit off, and it's weird that it has a separate date sticker. According to Concept 2's website, the serial number should have the manufacture date encoded in it. I'd be cautious about this one, especially since you've been reading about fake Concept 2 rowers. When you go to check it out, make sure to inspect it thoroughly and ask the seller lots of questions. Better safe than sorry!

The digits following "Serial Number:" represent the serial number for the machine and the monitor. Date of boxing and the Concept2 part number are also present on the label.

The above is from the concept 2 website which I had missed in my initial search. I wish they used a sticker that wasn't so easy to replicate, already bought it and it seems fine so far.

For what it's worth, my stickers look the same. Mine is 100% legit.
