PM4 flicking on/off and now not working at all - Looking for advice please

Hi, We are a very small rowing club with very very little funds . We were donated a PM4 erg which was sort of working when we got it, screen intermittently came on, I replaced batteries but hasn't really fixed anything. In an ideal world we would just go and buy a new PM5 but this isnt an option...so trying to figure out what is the issue and how to try and fix it....or where to start! The cable connection to the PM does seem to be loose. Photo is from when it was working. Thanks

Possibly bad connection between the battery terminals and the board.

Due to the age of these now and the amount of corrosion that is possible from the batteries and even from just in the air due to the location of the rower means its quite possibly stuffed.

Remove the 4 screws in the rear cover and post a picture here of the board.
