I have my rower setup where I face out a window. If it is a bright day outside it is impossible to read the PM5 screen.
Have adjusted the contrast all over. No luck.
Is there any way to brighten the PM5 screen to have it be more readable?
Or has anyone done a screen replacement with some aftermarket screen?
Thanks.

You could connect to the pm5 monitor using ergdata and then use the display on your phone, in addition to the monitor.

I'm not sure if Ergdata has changed it's background colour / contrast, but Ergzone is a far better option if it hasn't as it's a black background with white numbering.

The new ergdata version enables to select white or dark mode, so you can choose what you like.Dangerscouse wrote: ↑January 9th, 2024, 6:36 amI'm not sure if Ergdata has changed it's background colour / contrast, but Ergzone is a far better option if it hasn't as it's a black background with white numbering.
Anyway, every smartphone device has far better brightness and display as a PM5, so I assume with both display modes the readability will be much better.

This! My rower also faces the window and often it’s hard to see the monitor screen. But the screen on my phone is nice and bright.Negiarcian wrote: ↑January 9th, 2024, 3:59 amYou could connect to the pm5 monitor using ergdata and then use the display on your phone, in addition to the monitor.
