PM5 Bluetoop App connections disabled in gym?

Post by gvcormac » April 2nd, 2023, 1:25 pm

I'm at a hotel with a nice gym and newish PM5 (green C2 logo) Row Ergs and Ski Ergs.

But it has no "Connect" on the main menu, and if you go to the next menu is has "enable wireless" but then it asks only whether your heart monitor is bluetooth or ant+.

Is this a deliberate "gym" version with app connections disabled?

Update the firmware on it. It's a feature of the earliest PM5 on the first version of the firmware.

Thank you. Now I have to figure out if I want to try an unauthorized update!
