Should Serial on Rower and PM3 be the Same??

Post by Junkmanuk » February 3rd, 2022, 5:51 pm

Hi

Just like to clear something up ive just been told that the Serial on the Rower and the PM3 should be the Same??

"Both monitor and rower should have matching serial numbers and if different then it's a different monitor"

Is this correct?

Thanks

Thanks Steve

Thats good to know as im looking at buying a Model D with 33334353 Lifetime Meters but it looks in really good condition and im wondering if the PM3 thats on it now was added to the rower at somepoint because of maybe a problem to the original monitor

The rower has a date coded serial number.
The PM3 has a serial number AND a date code.

It's highly likely that the date codes will match.

The Odometer is unreliable, it gets reset to zero when you update the firmware on old versions and it doesn't count the Just Rows. That said thats very high, most of the PM3's I see in for service have next to zero on the clock.
